Notification Date

By a joint resolution approved on December 18, 2001, Public Law 107-89 designates September 11 of each year as Patriot Day. Also, pursuant to Section 9.314 RSMo., the United States flag and Missouri state flag shall be flown at half-staff at all government and public buildings from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in honor and recognition of the individuals who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks against the United States that occurred on September 11, 2001.

State government departments are responsible for distributing this information throughout your department for compliance with this order.
